Polyurethane generally has better tensile strength than other rubber and latex materials, as well as excellent tear strength and abrasion resistance. Polyurethane can be made to cure faster than rubber and latex, reducing production time significantly. Flexible polyurethane foam has better resistance to oxidation and aging than natural rubber or s.b.r. latex foam.
