Rigid Foam

Rigid polyurethane foam has a variety of uses—including thermal or acoustic insulation for aerospace and construction, as well as architectural accents or reinforcement of building structures for the construction industry. Rigid foam aids in flotation for the marine or sporting goods industries. It’s widely being used in the manufacture of molded picture frames, decorative mouldings, or as a replacement for wood in furniture. Rigid foam is also used to create faux rocks, waterfalls, and corals for aquariums and landscaping. The entertainment industry uses rigid foams for theme park structures and set decorations.

IPS structural and insulation rigid foam ranges in density from 2 – 40 lbs/ft³ and is available in spray or pour systems, depending upon your application. IPS also offers 0.5 – 1.0 lbs/ft³ for packaging and spa manufacturers.
