For years, especially in Southern California where Innovative Polymer Systems is located, IPS polyurethanes have long been used throughout the motion picture industry for replicating natural environments. IPS rigid foam can be molded to almost any shape, or can be carved and sculpted, and then can be sprayed with IPS polyurethane hardcoat. The coating is then prepped and painted to simulate any form that is desired. IPS offers many other solutions for this industry, including polyurea coatings for artificial rocks and waterfalls, aliphatic elastomeric products to make faux icicles, and moisture cured adhesives for almost any substrate.
